Last night I attended AIGA Austin's Under The Radar, lecture series featuring Trina Bentley. Trina is an award-winning designer and founder of Make & Matter. A few of the takeaways from her presentation were:
- Observe everything everyday
- Resource build
- Make your method
- Make Magic
- Forget stress & expectation
- Be reckless, break the rules, throw out constraints
- Get crazy to get creative
"GOOD WORK = GOOD WORK"
(this means if you produce good work then other good projects will land on your lap to work on)
Ultimately Trina had great work and great words of wisdom. Very inspiring.
