Spring Break Here I Come!!!!!

I have a week off from school, but its not going to be much of a break from school work or personal design work! I need to get my portfolio, business cards, resume, and thank you cards done and printed! On top of that the Sinage critique didn't go so well today and our group is starting over. 2 weeks to come up with a new design and mockups! READY SET GO!

Last night while working on other projects I got side tracked by these letters and the forms they began to make!

FOR RENT!

I am super excited to be back in a design class for the spring semester! It is called DES 380 Sign & Exhibition which will fulfill my 3D design elective. Our first quick project was to carry our camera around for 48hrs and take pictures of signs. It wasn't hard at all considering our lives are full of informational, annoying, silly, misleading fun signs! Next we had to choose a sign and improve it so here is my 1st proposal of "FOR RENT" ENJOY!!

Some of the most unique designs may be inspired from everyday objects such as headphones. I find it interesting to give objects such as these headphones, a sense of life and character.

The semester has began, the sketchbook is open, the tablet is ready to go once again! I'm currently working on giving myself a new identity and touching up my resume and portfolio! Here is a rough look at my new business card!

Preliminary of Final Project

I've made up my own restaurant and I'm in the middle of designing the logo which will be placed on the menu that I am designing. It has been a lot of twisting and turning of letters, but I am having a lot of fun to say the least.
