On a personal note...

I completed the Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio half marathon this past weekend. 3 month to go until I attempt my first marathon, the Austin Marathon!

The Early Hours

A few weeks ago I made running in the morning a habit in order to survive the hot days of summer in Texas. I would typically be in the middle of my run when the sun started peaking out and unfortunately without a camera on hand. I knew the only way I could capture the sunrise was to wake up early on a non running day. So, a couple Fridays ago I woke up early, ventured out with my camera, and waited until the sun decided to wakeup. I could have not been more inspired to spend the morning out by the lake, watching the sun rays and color change of the morning sky than sleeping in a few extra minutes. Here is the conclusion of that morning...

I recently traveled back up to Wisconsin to spend time with my family.

100 Year Timeline

Guaranty Bank, in Springfield MO, is celebrating 100 years this year and wanted to showcase their history in a timeline. It was my job combine their history, images, and upcoming celebrations in a unique way. The project was basically designed and programmed in a week. Today's run marked the first day of training. My plan in the next 9 months is to run a half marathon and then run in the Austin Marathon. Can't wait to check it off the bucket list!

Collaborative Sketches

My coworkers and I have started passing around a pencil and paper throughout our workday. On Thursday we had a pretty successful drawing by the end of the day. This drawing was a combination of sketching by Kayla Buelke, Jorge Madrigal, and myself. Enjoy!
